Mould caused by damp and water damage

Damage caused by water – whether water used for extinguishing a fire or flooding – often brings with it the
problem that damp can penetrate into plaster and brickwork.

Damp can cause long term problems even long after the actual damage occurred as it offers the perfect
breeding ground for mould.

This, in turn, can lead to serious respiratory illnesses, particularly in sensitive areas in the home, for example
the living room, bedroom or children’s room.
