Germs and bacteria

An increasing number of people are infecting themselves with germs and bacteria in hospitals and care homes.
Particularly problematic here are infections with germs and bacteria which are resistant to antibiotics e.g.
MRSA (methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus). These germs, also known as the “superbug”, can cause
very serious infections in patents which may even be deadly if the immune system is already weakened.

Ideally, this risk is best counteracted with a comprehensive approach which involves – besides the most
important measure for infection prevention, namely hand disinfection – also the greatest possible prevention
of cross contamination, in other words the indirect transmission of germs and bacteria from surfaces to humans.
For this reason BIONI SYSTEM has developed a special surface coating system which offers permanent resistance
to germs and bacteria.
